Sometimes, the air feels heavier than it should.
Not just because of the dust or smoke—but because of the silence that surrounds it.
This blog began as a way to observe what was happening around us.
One construction project at a time.
One unanswered letter at a time.
And now, more and more,
one breath at a time.
We don’t have a big plan or perfect answers. But we do believe that if people start noticing, recording, and sharing—even in small ways—it adds up.
We're experimenting with what we’re calling a two-track approach:
One track focuses on asking the government to follow through on what’s promised. (this is what majority is focused on and tracked on thaneborivalitunnel.blogspot.com)
Doing what we can ourselves.
Right now, this space is trying to do three things:
Track what’s happening, especially when it feels like no one’s keeping count.
- TMC & MMRDA's progress on mitigating pollution
Launching simple campaigns - Cough Count, Residents Watching (updated weekly)
Write a blog post for this site—what have you seen, felt, or wondered about? (as and when residents share either on Whatsapp or Google Form)
“Spotted something odd or worth celebrating? Send a photo with a 2-line note.”
-
“Tell us in 1 sentence: What did the air feel like this morning?”
-
“Did a misting truck pass by? Time + photo if you have one.”
Maybe it’ll slowly grow.
But for now, it’s a place to try, to ask, and to breathe a little more consciously.
