Residents Watching : Week 1 (19 April - 26 April)

After 19th April meeting with MMRDA offficals and MP Naresh Mhaske, contractors (MEIL and GC) have made efforts to monitor ground-level measures to mitigate dust pollution caused by their construction. 

Message below by Mr. Vikram Gaikwad - 

Dear all respective sir,

We invite to do site visit at any time and witness the road cleaning happening or not at site level..

All dumpers are well covered with tarpolin and wheel wash also carried out before leaving the dumper from the site exit.

Our Both (MEIL & GC) safety team and site team is available to monitor these activities at site level .

 Residents of Mulla Baug have now taken initiative to keep a track on whether the contractors are implementing dust pollution measures as stated by TMC - 

• Use of water sprinklers to settle dust released from sand, mud and cement
• Cover the trucks transporting construction materials
• Clean the tyres of trucks with water
• Traffic Marshals on-site
